Microsoft and associated organizations will host several conferences in 2016 for customers and partners. The conferences listed here are likely forums for product launches or roadmap announcements. All conferences listed other than the PASS conferences are Microsoft events.

The Data Insights Summit is a new conference for business analysts using Microsoft business intelligence technologies.

Build covers Windows developer tools and APIs, and it will focus on Windows 10 and the forthcoming release of Windows Server 2016, Azure, and developer tools.

The Envision event will cover Microsoft’s technologies at a business decision-maker (CxO) level, helping to define the role of Microsoft’s technologies in their strategic planning. Envision replaces Microsoft’s Dynamics Convergence conferences.

The PASS Business Analytics Conference has frequently been the venue for announcements related to Power BI and other Microsoft business intelligence technologies. The PASS Summit, sponsored by the Professional Association for SQL Server, has played a similar role for SQL Server product launches and roadmap announcements.
