6Wunderkinder, a small German company that created the Wunderlist organizing software, was acquired by Microsoft in June 2015. The Wunderlist application helps users create, manage, and share task lists such as to-do lists, assigned tasks, and shopping lists. It synchronizes lists between phones, tablets, and computers using an online service so that lists can be accessed from anywhere. The Pro and Business versions add other capabilities, such as large file attachments and unlimited subtasks. Wunderlist will likely be integrated with other offerings, such as OneNote and Office 365. The 6Wunderkinder team will join Microsoft but remain in Berlin for now; terms of the acquisition were not announced.

Features Determined by Version

Voted Mac App Store Best App of the Year for 2013, Wunderlist is a popular, free list management tool that is used by more than 13 million users, according to the company. It features easy sharing of information among users, with rapid synchronization across devices through an online service.
