The service could ease the migration of complex applications, where multiple databases must be migrated together in a specific sequence and time frame. Although marketed as a lift-and-shift offering, the service is limited to performing the final and easiest stage of database migration. Customers are still required to perform significant analysis, configuration, and testing prior to that final stage.
