Service Overview

Azure Analysis Services (AAS) is a Platform as a Service (PaaS) analytics offering based on SQL Server Analysis Services. It provides business intelligence (BI) semantic modeling for analytical processing and data mining of large, complex data sets to guide business decisions. Organizations typically load data into Analysis Services databases (called models) from operational or transactional sources, such as enterprise resource planning (ERP) databases and other business applications, to organize it for efficient analysis.
