Azure Blockchain services enable organizations to build and test blockchain-based applications with lower upfront costs than might be required in a private data center.
Blockchain is not a single hosted offering but rather a combination of Microsoft-hosted services and third-party offerings.
An updated development workbench can simplify the construction and testing of blockchain applications.

Azure Blockchain services include a development environment, access to Azure services, and specialized tools from partners that can be used to create blockchain applications. Customers can use the components to create blockchains, primarily consortium and private blockchains, that leverage other Azure services such as IoT Hub, Storage, and Machine Learning.
