Near Term (2025–2026)

Finance updates will focus on bank reconciliation and user automation, primarily through added Copilot functionality, but also will address the needs of large enterprises that have global operations or multiple companies with additional globalization, journal, and cross-business discovery and review features. The team is also adding new user governance and analysis features, as well as functionality to the Extended Planning and Analytics (xP&A) module (available for Premium subscriptions) to help financial planners gather data and automate an enterprises’ internal planning tasks.

Core application updates will complete many of the bank reconciliation features that were in preview and add future updates for more capabilities that to help match results and address journal entries that contain information about multiple vendors (previously requiring multiple journal entries.) Other core updates expand the use of financial tags to purchase orders, an improvement for customers who have special reporting requirements; transferring fixed assets between legal entities, a process that required extensive manual effort; and viewing cross-company data through an enhancement to the accounting source explorer, an existing feature that is currently limited to viewing data in one business or legal entity.
