Near Term (2025 – 2026)

HR expected updates are still minimal, which represents the second year in a row that the team has not significantly advanced this feature set. It is likely they remain focused on resolving issues from the infrastructure merge project. This was a major multiyear effort that brought the stand-alone HR application into the same back-end infrastructure environment as the other Finance and Operations applications and consolidated HR features from the other applications.

General improvements (all delayed from late 2024) will allow HR personnel to add users to the service and automatically create Entra ID accounts and enable use of Viva Connections to access HR data directly in Teams, such as for viewing paystubs or approving vacation requests.
