Near Term (2025–2026)

Project Operations has an ambitious schedule for 2025, compared to previous years, with a focus on improving user productivity, addressing their backlog of feature requests, and integrating financial management from the old Finance project management and accounting (PMA) module. Few of the features are improvement on project planning capabilities, but this should not concern customers. Most of the project updates will come from Planner, which is absorbing Project for the Web, old Planner, and ToDo functionality.

General enhancements include updates to expense management and time entry experiences on mobile and browser platforms, support for work-breakdown-structure (WBS) templates, and general improvements to billing, invoicing, approvals, and contract management. Additionally, there is improved support for stocked items and the reintroduction of discounts and fees.
