RoadmapChaos Studio Roadmap
Azure Chaos Studio generates failures and degraded conditions on Azure resources so that development and IT teams can ensure applications respond properly. The service could be used in customer test suites to boost application resiliency and availability. Configurations for the service should be carefully applied so it is not used inappropriately, such as by affecting production deployments. Separate tools and processes, such as Azure Monitor and its Application Insights feature, must be used to observe, analyze, and address the outcomes.

Recent updates include the following:
- A new role-based access control (RBAC) role called Target Contributor that allows a user to create Chaos Studio targets (Azure resources that are enabled to be affected by Chaos Studio) and read some settings but not run experiments (Chaos Studio test runs); this role could be assigned to testers who set up tests that need oversight before they are run
- Automatic tagging
