Some niche services are bundled with Microsoft 365 plans and could be useful for specific organizations.
Bookings
Bookings is a Web application to schedule and manage appointments with Exchange Online users. Bookings was originally designed to book appointments between customers and teams of professionals delivering services, such as therapists in a clinic. Bookings continues in that role, but its technology also drives a “Bookings with me” feature of Exchange Online. The feature books meetings between an individual user and others who might be inside or outside the organization. It could help replace third-party scheduling extensions such as freebusy.io or Doodle, which could reduce costs and simplify management.
Bookings receives regular improvements. For example, a planned scheduler interface (called Queue) will show a continually updated status for pending appointments, and enable e-mail and text notifications to providers and clients.
Forms
Forms is a service for conducting Web-based surveys, quizzes, and polls. It allows business units to gather customer feedback, administer post-training tests, or conduct polls about new features. A basic tier of Forms is on by default in all Office 365 and Microsoft 365 Enterprise plans, and Teams users can embed Forms polls in meetings. Forms is not a replacement for InfoPath Forms, a task for which Microsoft recommends its Power Apps service.
