RoadmapPower Platform Roadmap
Power Platform is a set of services that are a part of the Microsoft 365 ecosystem. These services, which include Power Apps, Power Automate, Copilot Studio, Dataverse, AI Builder, and Power BI, focus on simplifying creating and publishing line-of-business (LOB) processes and access to and modification of organizational data from all sources.

Near Term (2025–2026)
Power Platform updates arrive in semiannual “waves,” which are six-month periods where new features arrive. 2025 Wave 1 is from Apr. 2025 through Sept. 2025, and Wave 2 is from Oct. 2025 through Mar. 2026. Each wave contains hundreds of new features across Power Platform components, including the following:
- Power Apps updates include support for AI-based agents that assist makers building apps; apps can also be used as agents that run unattended
- Power Automate receives
