Components of the Enterprise CAL Suite

The Enterprise CAL Suite enables organizations to buy discounted Enterprise CALs for full functionality of many server products. This chart shows the products included in the Enterprise CAL Suite, as well as their prices. Two (of many possible) pricing scenarios are offered:

• Purchase of licenses only, without upgrades and maintenance, through Open License, Microsoft’s simplest volume license program.
• Purchase of licenses with Software Assurance, which requires annual payments and adds upgrade rights, maintenance, and other benefits. The prices shown here reflect a customer’s annual payments if they purchased the licenses and Software Assurance at the Select A discount level in a three-year Select License agreement.
