SidebarDynamics 365
Dynamics 365 is a set of subscription plans that combine and integrate components of Microsoft-hosted customer relationship management (CRM), financial, and enterprise resource planning (ERP) offerings.
The subscriptions are designed for organizations that do not need the full feature set of Microsoft’s hosted services for these functions and allow customers to select the functionality they need at a lower cost and deploy an integrated solution quicker.
The plans will most likely interest small to medium-sized organizations migrating from other small business products and medium-sized to large organizations that only need a specific business function, such as customer service.
Packaging Options
Dynamics 365 plans focus on providing specific business functionality without requiring a subscription to all the capabilities of a Microsoft hosted service. For example, salespeople can be assigned a Dynamics 365 subscription solely for management of their sales opportunity pipelines, rather than full CRM Online Professional subscriptions that license capabilities (such as customer service and marketing) salespeople are unlikely to use. Initially, Dynamics 365 includes financials, field service, sales, plant operations, marketing, project service automation, and customer service applications. Most of the features are delivered via CRM Online, except for financials and operations features, which come from Dynamics AX and Dynamics NAV, depending on the level of subscription.
