The Office System is a brand for a line of applications developed by Microsoft’s Business Division and aimed at business users. The full names of Office System products include the prefix Microsoft Office. The Office suite itself is simply called Microsoft Office with an edition name (e.g. Microsoft Office Professional).

Office System products other than the suite include the following:

  • Access
  • Business Scorecard Manager
  • Communications Server (successor to Live Communications Server)
  • Communicator

  • Forms Server (a SharePoint Server edition planned for 2007)
  • FrontPage (a predecessor to SharePoint Designer)

  • Outlook
  • Outlook with Business Contact Manager
