Major developments for Microsoft’s business applications roadmap since the May 2011 Enterprise Software Roadmap include the following:

SP1 shipped for 2010 versions of the Office, SharePoint, Project, and Visio products, updating both clients and servers.
Exchange Server 2010 SP2 was announced and is expected by the end of 2011.
New versions of Exchange Online, SharePoint Online, and Lync Online were launched in June 2011 with the Office 365, a set of plans that combine Microsoft-hosted services with Office Professional Plus subscriptions.
Skype, which operates a public real-time communications service that has over 170 million connected users, agreed to be acquired by Microsoft.
A browser-based meeting scheduling interface shipped for Lync Server, restoring a feature that was available in its predecessor, Communications Server, but missing from Lync Server at launch.
Dynamics CRM and Dynamics CRM Online release plans were revised; the products will get twice-yearly
