Major developments for Microsoft’s business applications roadmap since the Mar. 2010 Enterprise Software Roadmap include the following:

  • Office 2010, SharePoint 2010, Project 2010, and Visio 2010 products shipped to volume licensing customers in May 2010 and became generally available in June 2010.
  • The Exchange Hosted Continuity Service has been discontinued for new customers as of May 1, 2010.
  • An Online Voice service launched in Apr. 2010 enables voice mail and other voice services for customers of the Microsoft-hosted Exchange Online Dedicated and Communications Online Dedicated services.
  • Live Communications Server 2005 left Mainstream support in Apr. 2010; Extended support continues until Apr. 2015.
  • The Dynamics CRM Online Microsoft-hosted service received an update in May 2010; Microsoft announced that the next version of Dynamics CRM will appear first in Dynamics CRM Online in 2010 and then on-premises in 2011.
  • A Dynamics AX connector planned for 2010 will enable
