Windows 10 20H2, the first Windows client OS version to use a new naming scheme that denotes in which half of which year it was released, became generally available via the Semi-Annual Channel (SAC) on Oct. 10, 2020. It contains changes and new features and will be supported on Enterprise, Education, and Enterprise IoT editions until May 9, 2023. Organizations deploying these Windows 10 editions should use this version to evaluate the new and changed features and, if running a version of Windows 10 nearing its end of support, deploy the 20H2 version to take advantage of its 30-month support window.
