The illustration outlines the spectrum of Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition subscription offerings and the technical features and capabilities each makes accessible to licensed users via User Subscription Licenses (SLs) or client devices via Device SLs.

Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition consists of multiple applications (shown from left to right as Sales, Field Service, Customer Service, Project Service, Talent, Finance & Operations, and Retail) and a LinkedIn-branded component (far left). Each application targets a specific business function, and applications can be licensed individually or as a group.

Client Types

The subscription offerings are distinguished by client type:

Team Member User SLs (bottom of each plan) provide users full read access across all Dynamics 365 Enterprise edition applications as well as some write access for select light tasks, such as access to accounts, contacts, and leads or time/expense entry and human resources record updates. Team Member access cannot be licensed on a Per-Device basis.
