The Dynamics CRM Online 2015 Update 1 improves collaboration for sales and customer service teams, leverages Excel Online to simplify data entry and reporting, and delivers other improvements for end users, developers, and administrators. Companion marketing services also deliver improvements for interacting with customers through social networks and e-mail and reduce some licensing costs for Dynamics CRM Online customers. The updates also signal retirement of some existing technologies and bring in new update policies that should make the timing of future updates more manageable.
