Microsoft’s new Security Store is now generally available, offering a commerce storefront for security professionals looking to find security solutions and content that has been pre-vetted and approved by Microsoft. The new storefront includes a range of offerings, including Security Copilot agents, security-focused SaaS solutions that integrate directly with Microsoft security-related services, and connectors and other content to enhance Microsoft Sentinel. In addition to Sentinel, Microsoft states that the agent offerings in the Security Store are designed to be available through Security Copilot in the portals for Defender, Entra, Purview, Intune, and Azure. The purchasing options for the Security Store include private offers, Microsoft Azure Consumption Commitment (MACC) benefit-eligible purchases, and other flexible billing models, and it uses the existing billing infrastructure of the Microsoft Marketplace. In addition, the store is designed to enable simplified deployment of agents and SaaS offerings once licensed.
