This chart lists the contents of the four Office 2007 suite editions available through Microsoft volume licensing programs, along with the price under the Open Business program, which reflects the maximum price a business customer would pay through volume licensing. Prices listed in the left column are for the individual applications when purchased separately.

Four of the Office suite’s component applications—Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and Word—come in both a “standard” (indicated by “S” in the chart) and “premium” edition (indicated by a “P”), although they are not officially named as such. Microsoft simply refers to the latter as containing “premium features,” such as the ability to interact with SharePoint Server—hosted workflows from within Office applications. Volume licensing customers who buy the Office Professional Plus or Office Enterprise editions of the suite or who purchase any of the four applications stand-alone receive the premium application editions.

Although Office Professional Plus 2007 and Office Enterprise 2007 do not include Business Contact Manager, a contact management and lead-tracking plug-in for Outlook, customers can download it by visiting the volume licensing services Web site.
