SPS Terminology and Concept Changes

Readers familiar with SPS 2001 may find SPS 2003 terms and concepts confusing, since many have changed or have new meanings. The columns to the left list the old terms with new meanings in SPS 2003, and the columns to the right list the corresponding new terms and their meanings. As SPS 2003 makes extensive use of WSS, parentheses indicate whether the new term is defined by WSS or by SPS 2003.
