Dynamics 365 Customer Engagement is Microsoft’s hosted service that provides a collection of customer relationship management (CRM) applications. Previously called Dynamics CRM, it was renamed Customer Engagement in June 2017.

Customer Engagement Online Overview

Customer Engagement is divided into several applications that can be used independently or as an integrated solution, with users assigned application roles in the service’s security module:

Sales provides capabilities including lead and opportunity management, products, price lists, and group management.

Marketing provides templates and capabilities to create, management, and analyze marketing campaigns. It can work stand-alone or connect with the Sales application to automatically move acquired leads into the sales funnel.
