  • The Dynamics 365 Order Lines license can lower license costs and simplify license compliance when integrating Dynamics with other applications.
  • Changes allow more Supply Chain Management customers to use Order Lines, but it still applies only to limited parts of a few applications.

Dynamics 365 Order Lines, a capacity license to aid integration of Dynamics 365 Finance & Operations with other applications, has expanded the use rights for its Supply Chain Management module. The change will especially pay off for customers who want to integrate Dynamics 365 warehouse and production operations with external business partners (such as retailers), internal systems, and sensors or other networked IoT devices.

Order Lines: A Capacity License for Integration

Order Lines is a capacity subscription license, licensed at the tenancy level, that covers import (not export) of data from other applications into these specific Dynamics 365 modules:
