The Dynamics customer relationship management (CRM) product team will focus more on cloud improvements and Office 365 product integration and revert to delivering annual updates for on-premises customers. In enterprise resource planning (ERP), the product team is focused on releasing a hosted version of Dynamics AX to challenge Oracle and SAP in large organizations, and is introducing Azure requirements in the next version even for on-premises customers. The roadmap for the Dynamics line, updated at the Mar. 2015 Convergence conference, also shows the unit prioritizing integration with Azure services, standardizing mobile applications across multiple device platforms, and removing SharePoint dependencies.
