Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management is a stand-alone service that orchestrates order fulfillment and inventory allocation processes.

Service Overview

Dynamics 365 Intelligent Order Management, a Dataverse-based application, uses a combination of machine learning models and customer defined rules to orchestrate order fulfillment and inventory allocation processes. It provides the following capabilities:

Data consolidation. Data sources can connect to Intelligent Order Management’s data pipeline via “providers” and/or by using Power Automate and its set of connectors.

Orchestration. Intelligent Order Management provides a business orchestration designer to help design order-to-fulfillment, buy-online ship, buy-online collect, and other related business flows.

Analytics. The application uses machine learning models to find and predict order patterns and can be integrated with Power BI for visualization.

As a stand-alone service, Intelligent Order Management does not require other Dynamics 365 applications, but it is most often used with Dynamics 365 Supply Chain Management.
