Data Explorer is under active development and frequently receives new features and bug fixes. For example, new features that became generally available in the first half of 2024 include the following:
Kusto Query Language (KQL) table updates enable queries to update stored data, which can improve performance in tasks such as maintaining historical databases of KQL events.
Data Explorer dashboards enable users to quickly create Web pages with charts to monitor results in a KQL query.
Graph operators for KQL simplify queries for connections among elements and can be useful for network analysis, knowledge management, search, and machine learning applications.
