A number of acquisitions have been rebranded and integrated with the core CRM Online product, including Social Engagement, Dynamics Marketing, and Parature. These hosted services use the same general licensing model as CRM Online, which requires a User Subscription License (SL) for each user plus various other subscription licenses to increase storage and other capacities beyond defaults.

Use of the add-on services are included in the higher-end CRM Online User SLs; however, each add-on service levies additional capacity-based costs for services (such as messaging) and storage that are separate from the CRM Online tenancy.

Each of the add-on services can also be used with CRM on-premises (typically for an extra charge) and purchased stand-alone. Customers purchasing stand-alone subscriptions can also integrate the add-on services with Dynamics CRM competitors, such as Salesforce. (Stand-alone user licensing options are not covered here.)

Social Engagement

Social Engagement (formerly NetBreeze) enables organizations to monitor social networks and blogs to analyze how their brands, products, and marketing campaigns are performing and directly engage individuals who post comments.
