Viva is a brand for Microsoft’s employee experience platform (EXP), a set of solutions to improve employee productivity and development by connecting individuals with their peers; providing easier access to relevant information, training, and guidance; creating a feedback loop to management about employee sentiment; and helping organizations share news and important events with employees.

Overall Near and Long Term (2025 and Beyond)

The three major Viva categories—Connections/Engage, Learning, and Insight—are all receiving significant investment in 2025 and beyond. These investments are a combination of new features, capabilities from previous services, and a fair amount of Copilot- and AI-related functionality, which is standard in all Microsoft 365–related products.
